Program assistant

Academy for Educational Development (AED) manages scholarship
programs for USAID.  The goal of the program is to train
a new generation of Indonesian leaders in such fields as Education,
Health, Environment, Governance and Economics.
AED is now looking for a dynamic person for the position of a
Program Assistant.

Position Summary:
The Program Assistant will provide ongoing administrative
support for the recruitment, selection, pre-departure preparation
and alumni coordination of participants for overseas training.

Essential Job Functions:
Assist the Program Specialists in administrative support for:
. preparation of participants for their programs overseas, including
orientation, preparation of objectives memos and action plans, and
. return of participants following completion of their programs,
including confirmation of return, administration of follow-up
questionnaires, and links of the returned participants into alumni
association development efforts,
. maintenance of documentation relating to training participants and
training activities
. post-activity interviews.

Duration of Work  :  1 year with possible extension
Starting Salary       : Commensurate with education & experience
Education                : BA/BS or Sarjana (S1) degree
Experience              : Relevant administrative experiences
Specific Knowledge Requirements: Knowledge of project management
and administration.
Skills                          : Administrative skills
Team working skills
Verbal and written English skills.
Word and Excel.
